Unity in Your Community – Part 3

WHAT MAKES A HEALTHY SPIRITUAL COMMUNITY?

Hi Beloved,

This week’s blog we’re sharing what our motto is at Centers for Spiritual Living in Camarillo (CCSL) and why it matters.

First, let me introduce myself. I’m Susan Espinosa, a Practitioner with CCSL. We’ve been offering a blog series aimed at helping you identify the type of spiritual center that fits your needs and wants.

At Camarillo Center for Spiritual Living our motto is Practice, Service and Play.

PRACTICESpiritual Practice brings your heart and your feelings in alignment. Using tools, meditation, walks in nature or whatever makes you feel the Presence, practice it repeatedly and often throughout the week.

SERVICE – Giving of time and attention with the intention to uplift is the act of Service. Helping another in need, greeting with a smile, joining a beach clean up, complimenting another are a few ways to share your positivity.

PLAYWhen we play, we access our creativity and state of wonder. In this state of mind, the Presence can be experienced through sudden insights, feeling a deep sense of joy and increasing your sense of well-being.

MORE THAN JUST LIP SERVICE

Is the Spiritual Community you’re considering living and demonstrating their teachings every day? Not just during a service or workshop.

DO THEY INSPIRE YOU TO LEARN ABOUT YOURSELF?

This should be something you get a sense of immediately.

At CCSL we use the statement, “No Gurus Here”. The teachings support you in discovering who you are and encourage your curiosity. Personally, I found this very inspiring. The Spiritual leadership recognized that I was curious and lovingly supported me in my education.

Whether we’re in a board meeting or meeting you in the community, you can be assured that we are in Practice, Service and Play at all times.

CCSL is a community where kindness leads and genuine support for your spiritual growth is a priority.  That was my experience from the beginning and all the way through the challenges of 2020 and beyond.
